Bollywood actress Pooja Bedi has come out in support of model-actor Milind Soman after a case was filed against him for running naked on a beach in Goa. Defending him, Bedi said that there is “nothing obscene” about the photos and called it “aesthetic”.
Pooja Bedi took to her twitter handle and compared Milind's controversial picture to those of bare Naga sadhus. "Absolutely nothing obscene about @milindrunning aesthetic pic. The obscenity lies in the minds of a viewer imagining more! His crime is being good looking,famous & setting bench marks! If nudity is a crime all naga babas should be arrested. Smearing ash can’t make it acceptable!," she tweeted.

Milind Soman, who recently turned 55 took to his Instagram handle to share a picture of himself running naked on the beach. The picture was clicked by his wife Ankita Konwar. Days after the post, the Goa police booked him under IPC Section 294 (Obscene acts and songs) and 67 (Punishment for publishing/transmitting obscene material in electronic form) of IT Act. Reportedly, the complaint was filed by an organisation called Goa Suraksha Manch for running nude on the beach and then circulating those pictures on social media.
