Soumitra Chatterjee was recently admitted to a hospital in Kolkata after he tested positive for COVID-19. The legendary actor has been in multiple projects that left him with a wide range of fans across the country. The actor was soon shifted to an ICU after COVID Encephalopathy set in. While the infection subsequently decreased, everyone thought that he would soon recover. But, despite multiple plasma therapies, dialysis, and other treatments, he stopped responding to any of it on November 13.
