The actress had met her back in 2009 when Kamala Harris was the Junior United States senator of California. Mallika Sherawat met Kamala Harris for the prep of her film Politics of Love that released in 2011. Mallika was seen portraying the role of a Democratic campaign worker inspired by Kamala Harris.
